AR03 ARx540 NITRO Off Road Bike Kit

 The much anticipated nitro version of the Arx 540 1:4 off road racing bike.  Awesome performance (see it on Utube) and realism.

This unassembled version comes with all the parts required to build the bike including the Nova Rossi 2.5cc engine.

It does not include radio equipment or starting equipment..

We would recommend a two channel radio outfit with two hi torque servos and a good rechargeable receiver battery pack.

Engine starts with a cordless drill and glowstart and runs on good quality nitro fuel.

FRAME: 4 side panels are used to create the frame: 2 upper and 2 lower,produced from 2 mm aluminium with laser cut technology, followed by black anodic, assembled together using 6 mm steel bolts and aluminium spacers created from solid blocks with CNC technology.This design is used to create a lighter upper part, which means a lower centerof gravity, to obtain an awesome stability and perfect steeringability on any sort of ground.The high position of this area is optimum to locate the electronics, receiver and servos, as it is far and protected from water,mud, sand and debris.The lower part of the frame is the motor/battery area. It is reinforced with aluminium spacers to resist the torsionalstress produced during extreme riding.

FORKS Upside-down spring fork, bolted to the frame through 2 CNC clamps and 2 plastic connecting rods reinforced and mounted on 8 roller bearing to create a really smooth and accurate steering effect.Even at the front end all the components are produced from solidaluminium blocks with CNC technology, tolerances are kept to the minimum to obtain maximum smoothness operation during the compression/extension of the fork, fast steering responds and tough package.BODYPlastic has been chosen for the steering rod to create an element that absorb the main stresses of a crash impact to avoid to damage other, more expensive, components of the bike in case of driving mistakes.

REAR SWING ARM The rear swing arm, produced by CNC as well, during all kinds ofriding will resist any sort of deformation stress, longitudinal or torsional.The chain front sprocket has its centerin the pivot point of the swing arm, this means that the chain tension will remain constant at any point of the rear suspension travel.This solution is at any time the best, even the real bike manufacturer wish to reach this solution but it is very difficult to obtain.Oil rear CNC shock with coil spring and reinforced foot.To modify the suspension set up according to the ground surface it is possible to change shock oil, increase or decrease spring preload and to vary the shock bolting point between 6 different positions.

STABILITY: GYROSCOPIC EFFECT Inside the rear wheel shells is located the flywheel, registeredsystem, which creates the gyroscopic effect, real innovation point that allows off road driving. It uses gears and centrifugal clutch to transmit energy to the flywheel during bike accelerations and steady speeddriving.While braking the clutch closes and the flywheel keep spinning on neutral, not affected by tire rotational speed.This means that the gyroscopic effect remains even in the slow corners of the tracks.
